Need help finding your dream home?

If you would like to do some research of your own, feel free to use my convenient website links above to help find your dream home, calculate your monthly payments, and review information about any school district in New York State.  Feel free to contact me if you need assistance.  Here are some things to consider:

  1. Know Your Rights - There are many laws that protect you from scams, unnecessary expenses, and discrimination in the  process of home buying.

  2. How Much Mortgage Can You Afford - You can save yourself a lot of wheel-spinning if you take a minute to figure out how much mortgage you can afford.

  3. What's Your "Wish-List"? - Knowing what you're looking for will help you focus your search.

  4. Mortgage Programs - Many different kinds of mortgages are available to you. Read about them, and make sure you understand the pros and cons of each.

  5. Home Inspections - When you make an offer on a home, it's a good idea to make your offer contingent on a home inspection, conducted by an independent authorized inspector.

  6. Appraisals - Your lender will require you to get an appraisal of the house you want to buy, to make sure it's worth the money that you're borrowing.

  7. Home Owner's Insurance - Lenders require that you have homeowners insurance, to protect both your interests and theirs.

  8. Closing - Be sure to read everything you sign.

If you’ve decided to sell your home, chances are you’re caught up in a host of emotions. You may be looking forward to moving up to a new dream house or facing the uncertainty of a major move across country. You may be reluctant to leave your memories behind or eager to start new adventures. Whatever turbulent feelings you’re experiencing right now, there are plenty of practical matters that need your attention.  Keep in mind the following considerations to help the whole process go more smoothly:

  1. Curb Appeal - A home that’s visually appealing and in good condition will attract potential buyers driving down the street.

  2. On The Inside - Strong curb appeal will lure potential buyers inside, where you have to live up to their expectations.

  3. Setting a Fair Price - Naturally, you want to get top dollar for your home. But, at the same time, you don’t want to scare off potential buyers with a price tag that’s too high.

  4. Seek Legal Representation - When selling your home, it’s a good idea to be represented by an attorney.

Let me help you get the most out of your current home.  I will listen carefully to understand your goals and guide you through the entire process of selling your property from listing to sale.
